Reservations and Bookings :

Ticket Refunds : 

The ticket cancellations can be done through both online and offline procedures depending on the method opted for booking. The cancelled ticket refund amount is returned to the passenger after making deductions based on the time of cancellation of the ticket before the journey date and in the case of online booking money will be refunded within 7 days of cancellation. Full refund is provided if the train got cancelled due to accidents, floods or any other reasons.

About Indian Railways: 

Indian Railways is the transport organisation run by Indian Government through the separate Railway Ministry with headquarters located in New Delhi.
