I am forced to write this mail after I spoke to the following people at different levels in your esteemed organization as their version of the issue is unfair and nobody was ready to take the responsibility to resolve the issue.

3. Regional Officer – Mr. Lakshman ( Ref. by Loans Dept. Abids, Hyderabad)
As per the Bank of Baroda Complaints / Escalation policy I lodged the complaints at various levels and waited for a fair amount of time to seek the reversal of the amount mentioned in the subject.
Let me provide a brief out of the happenings during the recent visits and meetings at the bank:
1. I met the new Branch Manager on 7/9/2018 at Bank of Baroda, Abids Branch – He seems to have understood the problem and promised to send a letter to Regional office for the reversal of Rs. 74959.
2. On 29/9/2018, when I went to the Bank, the Loans department informed me that the reversal of wrongly charged penalties would take place by 1/10/2018.
3. Nothing happened till date. Hence, I called the Loans department today to know the whereabouts of the issue. Surprisingly, they asked me to contact the regional office with regard to the issue. I have no clue why I was asked to contact them when I am dealing with the Abids branch.
4. As directed by them, I contacted the regional office immediately through the provided number to understand the situation. The concerned official informed me that the matter has to be dealt by the Dy. General Manager from the regional office.
5. I send a message through WhatsApp to the Abids Branch Manager who called me by himself. As a part of discussion, I got to know that he has joined the Abids Branch recently. I was shocked when he asked me to go through the Letter of Sanction to the Borrower with regard to the issue. In continuation to it, he also asked me to call him back. It is very unprofessional way of handling the situation on the part of your Bank to dig-out everything and start from the scratch. The New Branch Manager is indirectly conveying the message that the previous Branch Manager was unaware of the Bank policies. Every other Branch Manager of your esteemed organization seems to act according to their own whims and fantasies and interpreting the bank policies in contrast to each other.
6. With due respect to the Bank Manager’s word, I tried to understand the guidelines in a deeper way by going through the sanction letter once again, where I could locate under the section of Other documents according to Point No.4, submission of Registration Documents of Our House was done in time. With reference to Point No.18 we were informed about Hypothecation in the month of April 2018. With immediate effect, I requested the Loans Department of Abids Bank Branch via phone and also through a personal visit for the prescribed format of Hypothecation but I didn’t receive any prompt/timely response from them. Unfortunately, due to the delayed response from the Loans’ Department after June 2018 I could submit the relevant documents with the respective Hypothecation format in the month of July 2018. I called the New Branch Manager as specified, to explain the current scenario but he is inclined to see me at an appointed time. [Kindly refer to Point 2 ]
As an NRI customer of Bank of Baroda from 2005 and prompt payer of my home loan installments, this is very painful to follow-up for the reversal of the above said amount, which I deserve lawfully, for the past 60 major days in my life.
Having assured of reversal of unfair penalty, you people are going back to square one by asking me to refer back to the loan document.
When I get your response, I would take a call about continuing my Fixed Deposits, Saving Accounts and Home Loan Account as I can proceed with the appropriate action.
Note: This above description is only a small part of the complete issue. There are many areas where the loan department acted very unprofessionally.

i have lost my debit card on 08.12.12. I am trying to call customer care no. n trying no. branches of bank of baroda. they replied that we should call tomoro morning 8am.i just want to who is responsible to bear any loss done during the period if anyone misuses my card.

Very sorry to say that BOB cards Customer Care serive is most pathetic service which i ever came across. We could not connect to the Toll Free number 1800 225 100 which says that it 24 hour helpline number. Really Pathetic.

I have opened Bob saving account mainly for interned banking as I heard their net banking is very effective. It has been over a month now I had still not received my Net user ID. I am running and calling the branch (Kalyani Nagar, Pune) every now and then. The branch staff is telling me that they have received the password of the net banking; however, the user Id is still not known. After repeated enquiries that the just telling me that when the user Id comes we will give but not telling when it will come or whom should I escalate the matter.
As this account is linked to my trading account, its very important for me to transfer funds which I am not able resulting in huge losses for me.
Who will take care of this??????????

Service at BOB of KalyaniNagar Pune is dissatisfying… after 2 days of bank holiday in weekedays bank opens on Saturday to close at 11:45 AM as per IST time zone (even though the time is 12:00; much below average service timings). Are customers of bank Stupid to trust this bank and rely to withdraw money at urgent situations form such a bank.
