    I have one refrigerator purchased since last 4 years but the water is not drain though it pipe line so the water is drainage inside the refrigerator and also drainage to the floor. One of your engineer suggest me to repair yourself by hot water. Without having any technical knowledge it is not possible to try for the above.

    Since than we are facing the same problem without rectification of the minor case.

    Hi,

    I have logged a complaint on 30th July 2014 that the glass of door of my fully automatic washing machine is broken and due to which I cannot use it for washing clothes. After 4-5 days of lodging complaint I was contacted by service center and they took the old broken part so they can order the same part to the company and get it changed. Whenever, I called them they said it is under process and I will shortly get that part replaced. Then, one day the service personnel came to my house with a new door to replace (this has taken almost 20-25 days from date of complaint) and then they declare that the part is not of correct size so it will not work and they have to send the same feedback to the company and get the door of correct size from the company to replace it. This was amazing that they have taken the old part and then after taking 20-25 days they came back with part of wrong size. To me clearly it seems like time buying exercise. I kept patience and thought it can be a mistake at their end so waited again to get the part replaced. However, after not hearing anything for next 5-6 days when I inquired I was told to talk to company directly as company is not providing the part to the service center and they are helpless in this case.

    I called customer care and I was always told for 7-8 days that they are following it up and someone senior from escalation department will call me in few minutes that day, however as expected no-one called. After waiting for 7-8 days and getting the same repetitive answer from customer care executive I asked him sternly to get the correct status of my complaint as I cannot wait till eternity some senior guy came up on the call and assured me that definitely I will get the status within a day or so. Then I get the call from the service center that I need to give the xerox copy of the bill so that they can get my machine replaced in case part is not available. After providing bill, I got a call from someone named Raghav from +911206641100 who was very rude while talking. He said that since I have bought the machine in 2008(though as per bill it was bought on 14-Jul-2009 from Reliance Digital, EDM mall Indirapuram, Ghaziabad) it is out of warranty neither part can be replaced nor machine. He also told me that usually machine warranty is for 2 years.

    My question is if the machine was out of warranty and nothing can be done then why I was kept in dark for 1.5 months and does anyone buy an expensive product(in this case, fully automatic washing machine) considering its life only for 2 years? Shall I throw that fully working machine just because you cannot replace the part or the machine?

    Also, to let you know I have got the motor of the machine replaced 1.5 years back by paying around 4500 INR. Machine is properly working except it cannot be used as door is broken.

    Once there was name of WHIRLPOOL as leader in white goods segment. I bought microwave, refrigerator and washing machine of this brand as it was having trust in the market among consumers. I don’t think after this incident I will be in a position to either buy another product in life from Whirlpool brand or recommend to any of my friend or relative. In fact sharing this experience with others may repel them from buying any of your product.

    Honest recommendation – You shall work on your customer care handling methods and teach your people how to talk to customers. At the time of selling, don’t make big commitments and don’t miss-sell your product if you cannot support it.

    I have purchased a refrigerator From BHARAT VYAVSAYA PVT LTD AGRA vide 1911, model No. 13131 F280 DLX Cubic wine 5S,on 03/04/12. This particular item was defective and was replaced vide ARA Doc.No. 5300010181 dated 15/09/12, with new model No.14092FP283D PROTON DLX Vintage wine(ND).My complain is that the item provided as replacement is of 260Ltrs capacity as against my original purchase of 280 Ltrs capacity. In this respect I have spoken to Mr. Ankit on mobile No.09278368610,Who was inatroduced to me as area manager of Whirlpool for this region.The reply recieved from him is very rough and does not commensurate with leading company like WHIRLPOOL.I am a service defence personnel and this deal has disturbed me a lot, it was further aggravated by reply from Mr.Ankit who uttered that “you go any where it cannot be done”. I therefore request you to kindly intervene and replace my item to correct capacity and relieve me from this mental pressure. Expecting a reply soon.

    Please find below the mail trail, my worst experience with an appliance Vendor ever, Whirlpool has disappointed me once again:

    Whirlpool Team,

    It’s over a month and I am still struggling to get this issue fixed. Imagine yourself without a fridge in this season.
    As you guys offered to get the Device replaced last month, We has deposited the difference and depreciation amount with your service center on 3rd of September 2012.
    Still there is no action.

    Can somebody out of you explain to me what does Whirlpool as company can do to check some non-sincere and careless service centers and staff??

    If it’s not in Whirlpool’s control anymore, kindly convey it to me so that I can proceed with some judicial actions.

    Hi,

    This is to intimate Whirlpool and all the its concerned departments that I am highly disappointed with the Whirlpool’s product and after sale service.
    I bought a whirlpool 410LT fridge(WRL-REF-410 DLX PROF CRYSTAL IBOX 5S) from a local vendor in Patiala, Punjab on 30th October 2010.
    It is not functioning since 05th August 2012. Thus a complaint was registered same day with the local Whirlpool complaint centre (A.K. Electro Services, Complaint no. 8277) and service charges were paid the very same day.
    Its 12th August 2012 today and there is no remedy till date to my misery.

    Anyone can imagine what would it be for a family of 5 spending over a week without a fridge.
    To what I have experienced, I will make sure that I do not ever buy a Whirlpool product ever again, also not recommending it to any of my known.

    Can I expect a justification for this incident?

  12. I am using whirlpool washing machine which was purhcased in 05/09/2011 last year. About 4 days back we have encountered some problems in our machine and to get them rectified we have lodged a complaint with your calls centre on 25.08.12 (Purchase from Sargam Electronics, 135 desh bandhu road, kol-35 valid cash memo no-2524 and after continous follow up and reminders your engineers ( Mr.Rajkumar Jana ) visited our place on 23.08.12 and as per his review it has been told to us that some part is to be replaced and its require to purchase also service charge is require to paid . Also his behavior is not up to the mark no one has visited and no body is there who can guide us what do now. Even after my regular calls to you toll free no. 18601804558, no body is entertaining our complaint. This is really height of irresponsibility your staff is showing. Now we are deciding to scrap this machine as will never going or will never recommend any body to purchase any whirlpool appliances. As we are really very much upset with the type of services you people are giving.

    I just wanted to know, whether is there anybody senior person in whirpool company who can sort out our matter as we are not getting response from customer care centre. Complaint was lodged (no.DL0811029919) on 31.08.2011 and till date this matter is pending. We are making regular calls to call centre and they are just giving us assurance only, no action has been taken so far.
    I would like to request person concerned in whirlpool to kindly guide us what to do or do we need to forget the services and scrapped the machine.

    I had bought a whirlpool mastermind 30 platinum model refrigerator 2 yrs ago.In past 3 months it gave many problems,we had changed Compressure,sensor & filled gas twice.Our refrigerator was not in work for about 2-4 days each time,through which we had to face problems.Sir I want you to replace my refrigerator with a new one.

    I have 400 L 7281 model sr no1NA040402936PURCHASED ON 13.11.04. Recently the same goes into defrosting mode frequently.As per yr service Engr due to low voltage some PCB has gone faulty .But this is not acceptable as you have given in spec 160-260V limit and such a variation is not there in our area as other instruments would have gone faulty too.I anticipate a design or mfg defect in this model as the same problem had appeared with same model of my neighbour Raje who purchase it much recently. Your charges for diagnosing the problem are also exorbitant and this includes asking us the problem and telling the solution of replacement of part or whatever without touching the Eqpt!!
    I am thinking of taking the matter to Consumer Forum for further investigation as there may be many more cases of the same problem faced for the same model launched in 2004.
