    hi,
    i bought a sony vaio laptop model number vpcea22en. i bought it on 22/07/2010. only within 2 month of purchase, it has started annoying me. The problem i am facing is that its resolution has got some problems. when i switch on my laptop the color spreads and colored lines appear on whole screen and then a white screen appears.
    i approached for customer support, but there was no respond from their part.

    Respected Sir/ madam,
    i have baught a sony vaio VPCEB34EN notebook from thrissur , kerala. when i brought the laptop to home , i found many complaints on the laptop as follows…..
    – the keypad pannel was unlocked
    – a clevage in the side of the panel
    – a bright spot in the left corner of the lcd screen
    -and a lot of graphics problems
    on the fourth day i informed this to the service centre , my job sheet no-AET4518 . I demanded a replacement as this complaints are due to manufacturing problems . they told me that they will repair the laptop , change lcd screen , change the panel etc .
    I baught a new laptop ,i belive and i am treated like this . i need a new laptop free of complaints . so please do needful.

    Sony India Limited Warranty and Service Conditions

    For the purpose of this Limited Warranty and Service, “Sony” means Sony India Pvt. Limited for this computer hardware product (the “product”) purchased from one of Sony’s official VAIO distributors, in India. Sony offers:

    For the period of one (1) year from the date of delivery, sony warrants that the product is free from defects in materials and workmanship and in conformity with the respective specification of the product.
    Upon discovery of a defect in materials, workmanship or failure to meet the specifications in the product during such one (1) year period, Sony shall, at Sony’s sole discretion, either repair such product or replace it with the ide3ntical type of product without charging any technical labor fee and repair parts cost for you, on the condition that you bring such product to Sony’s service shops for VAIO within such one (1) year period. In case of repair or replacement, Sony may own all the parts removed from the defective products. Sony may use new and/or reconditioned parts made by various manufactures in performing warranty repairs and replacement of the Product. Even if Sony repairs or replaces the Product, its original one (1) year warranty term is not extended

    _ READ IT AND TELL ME WHY I CANT GET A REPLACEMENT. I’m tired of this laptop. This is the 15th time i am walking in to the service centre. I have no time to file a case in the consumer court, and it wont be gud for both of us. So please kindly do needfull.

    I brought a sony vaio laptop Model No: VPCCW23EN . I brought it on feb 2010.As brought it duo to brand name of sony Vaio. a six sigma comp. but within one year i send it to Three time to service center (1st time: speaker problem; 2nd & 3rd time Battery problem). i also used Accer laptop but i never get such a problem .Please sort out the problem.

    On 22nd night i brought sony waio, in same night my laptop os became corrupted while making recovery disc. I took into service center they have taken 3 days. So much slow response. I am not haapy with sony support.

    I have purchased a Sony Vaio laptop (VPCEB34EN) in Nov 2010, and the LCD display went bad and the base of the laptop was skewed. The LCD was replaced and the base re fixed ….now the touch pad is not functioning properly. I got assistance from the customer care , but was of no help to fix this problem. The service center was of no help and the touch is bad as before, the people concerned are not ready to accept that the laptop isn’t functioning well and tell me that this is the maximum it can perform…ridiculous enough. I have used an IBM thinkpad and is till functioning after 5years without any service even once. I am not happy with the laptop I received from sony. Sony no more stands for its name. I would urge people to check before and not go by reviews. I would request the concerned authorities to these issues under notice.

    I baught 1 sony E-Series labtop recently in Dec-2010, but i am facing one major problem it is ,when i start my labtop after 10 min there is 1 big black strip appears on screen it will cover the 1/4 portion of screen and intterupts all the functioning of labtop, many time i have returned my labtop to my dealer but i got no good response and results ,what should i do? what is that problem exactly? where should i go to complaint about it? can anyone give me the concerned details.? I am not haapy with sony support.
    I would urge people to check before and not go by reviews. I would request the concerned authorities to these issues under notice.
