    31/07/2008:- I received a promotional call from Lenovo Company to buy Lenovo IdeaPad and was referred to the authorized dealer giving the details of the dealer. Highlighting the 3 years of Warranty service if I buy the product today.
    I purchased a Notebook (Laptop) of Y510 series Lenovo IdeaPad Model 7758 Sr. No. ABQ0049817 ME 15799 laptop because of 3 years warranty service.
    My LAPTOP Sr. No. and my all correspondence details, contact no. were registered there online in the showroom of the Dealer to avail the said Warranty of 3 years. I confirmed there to do anything else; they replied NO NEED TO DO anything now.
    I received an e-mail for registration for the 3 years warranty Lenovo with a reference no. RED3033737949690 a warranty upgrade from 1/1 to 3/3**.
    In December, 2009 I noticed one day my laptop has got defect in its bottom and hinges near LCD Panel. It creates gap during I open the top. Now its increasing day by day because no body is ready to listen my grievance. Nobody is helping me out in this situation. Neither from Lenovo nor the Dealer they simply refused to do the necessary repair and give me the said warranty as committed by the company while purchasing.

    21/12/2009: I brought the defect in dealer’s notice. They took my laptop for necessary repair or service. After 1 or 2 days they just refuse to do anything and they were suggesting me do this and that. I just faded up with the dealer and his behavior. Inward Receipt of Dealer i have kept to file the case against company.

    I called the toll free no. of Lenovo Customer Care they registered my case informing me that if I have that email in which upgraded warranty information reference no. was mailed to me. Then I will get the warranty service.

    24/12/2009 to till today: I have been calling and contacting the Lenovo through phone calls and e-mails and telling them the facts they were just replying we are working on your case finally they just refused to give me said warranty or replace my defect laptop. I am mailing them continuously but there is no response from their side.
    I don’t where to go and where to replace this defective Laptop. I really had never imagined that such a big bran will make the people fool in such a way.

    This is personal suggestion for all the people whoever reading this blog Please never go for Lenovo IdeaPad or any kind computer accessories of Lenovo.

    Relief against my complaint: If company ever think to give me the relief agains my grievance. Then kindly inspect this case and kindly Replace my Laptop/Notebook/ Ideapad, as I had purchased the latest model Notebook at that time so I want either the same model or latest model of this time. And a punishment to Lenovo that such a big brand should not behave like this to the customer. They should respect the customer and customer’s emotions. As they have to ultimately sell the products to the customers.

    First u should not have gone for Lenovo, however if u have already pourchased then just call the toll free no. of lenovo and ask for a little service then they will tell all the things to do for getting proper services from Lenovo. And dont forget to submit all the desired documents asked by Lenovo. Ask them clearly what ever u need in future…

OUTSOURCING on 12th April. i cant received yet. wats going on this. is it fake service centre r.t. outsourcing.or wat i have talked to r.t. outsourcing delhi also he cant respond me any more just told me that take ur money back or you just wait. what can i do now, i m just waiting here or what. Lenovo is a good brand but how is it make a bussiness partner like fraud R.T. Outsourcing.

  17. last month i have log a call to your customer care centre for my laptop speekers.the speekers of my laptop is not working they give me a case id and tell to cordinate with service centre.but the service centre man is taking so much time to resolve the call.they tell me u please call to customer care because the part has not been delivered to service centre.I feel fully haras from lenovo people.Please do the needful .

    but when i saw my computer properties it shows only 2.93GB RAM. and my hard disk totally is 278GB. i dont know the rest of 1GB RAM.

    my question is will OS occupy this 1GB RAM or what is the reason behind it.

    i gave my laptop for service to the lenovo center after service it didnot work properly like before service and i found that the monitor display is not responding some times. it manily happens on when i put in charger, when i plug my power caple it happens.
    my web camera and video capture device is not working properly.
    from my experience i would say lenovo is toooooo worst is service.

    Till date I had not received my lap top back . The service centre is saying that we are yet to receive the OS cd/dvd from Chennai.
    I had many of official visits & meetings canceled due to lack of laptop. It is affecting my official work.

    I do not expect such delays from such a big company due to lack of OS CD.
    Please expedite the same. Such incidents will create customer dissatisfaction.

    i have a S10-3C notebook. I cannot access internet.
    I use my cell phone to connect to the internet, but even though the phone shows connected i get an error as “no network access”. Even if i connect it to a Wi-Fi network the error message is shown.

    i hve lenovo y510 7758 42Q model,i faced more problems with this laptop,in my lapi on volume control there is message as “no audio device is installed” so i dont undrstand this is hardware or software problem, bez i format my lapi with original vista dvd,i tried to install audio driver of original vista cd/dvd. but after this i do not get a sound,there is cross mark on volume control. when i bring this laptop from service center ,from that day my lapi sound,one cord do not work to detect pen drive.
    even i also try to get audio driver from http://consumersupport.lenovo.com this site but when i clicked on audio drivers i got a chipset driver, what is this ?
    in past 2.5 years i visited to service center for 20-25 times
